New buildings seem to be popping up all over the place downtown, and today construction started on the new Tucson Convention Center Hotel: A DoubleTree by Hilton. Once the hotel at the convention center is completed, Caliber will own eight hotels and 1,333 rooms in Arizona and Alaska. Construction of a long-awaited Tucson Convention Center hotel has commenced.
