The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) has announced at 10:00 a.m., that they will be escalating strike action to a full withdrawal of services beginning Monday, October 7, should a settlement not be reached by October 6, 2019. Please be advised that schools will be fully operational on Monday, October 7. We appreciate your patience and understanding. The CDSBEO has been advised by the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association (OCSTA), the party representing Ontario Catholic School Boards in provincial negotiations, that the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) is in a legal strike position as of December 21, 2019. We continue to monitor the situation closely.

Information sessions for the fall program intake will be held at various locations beginning May 2020. Semester 1 program start date is September 2020. The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario will work diligently to minimize any impact on our students and school communities under “work to rule” job action.
